This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in commissioning, procurement, or commercial leadership—perhaps a Regional Commissioner or similar public sector professional looking to make a difference from the provider side.

About the role:

As Commercial Manager, you’ll lead and support all commercial aspects of our operations, including:

  • Business development and strategic growth planning
  • Contract negotiation and lifecycle management
  • Procurement and supplier governance
  • Commercial viability assessments and pricing models
  • Strategic account and stakeholder relationship management
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies that drive growth and sustainability
  • Lead on business cases, cost modelling, and financial planning
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, tenders, and partnerships
  • Manage contract performance, compliance, and renewal processes
  • Support procurement governance and supplier relationship management
  • Provide commercial insight to influence service design and investment decisions

You’ll work closely with operational teams, commissioners, and partners to ensure our services are commercially sound, person-centred, and aligned with local priorities.

About you:

  • A strategic thinker with hands-on experience in commercial or commissioning roles
  • Strong understanding of adult social care and local authority commissioning
  • Skilled in contract negotiation, business development, and stakeholder engagement
  • Confident working across teams and influencing at all levels
