Events Executive - £25,000 - £27,000 per year plus 12.5% service charge

The role?

  • Organising the events (weddings, exclusives, meetings and dinners etc) with the guests, advising and upselling as required.
  • Replying to incoming enquiries in a timely manner by phone and email.
  • Coordinating group bookings for tour groups.
  • Providing details of the events and holding weekly events meeting with Head of Departments.
  • Being present at some events to greet the hosts and working closely with the Food & Beverage Team.
  • Coordinating with the Head Chef regarding menus.
  • General office and administration work.

What we are looking for

  • Must have wedding and events experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on guest services.
  • Demonstrated organisational abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • A positive and friendly attitude.
  • Confident manner and good team player.
  • Pro-active approach to work duties.
  • Food & Beverage operational experience.
  • Experience of working in a busy hospitality environment.
  • Strong time and management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure.

Good to know

  • Full time.
  • £25,000-£27,000.
  • Tips: You will receive an equal share of the 12.5% service charge. This will vary based on the levels of business at the hotel however the current trend for staying in the UK means that we are always busy!
  • Daytime and/or evening shifts.
