Working in our Nuclear IT Services team, you’ll help deliver the capabilities supporting the transition towards An Electric Britain. You’ll build trusted cloud services that support critical operations and make a meaningful contribution every day.
This role can be based anywhere across our fleet, working to a hybrid model, giving you the flexibility to balance time at home with time on site when needed.
Platform Engineer - Cloud
- Deploying, managing and enhancing Azure services - Building, deploying, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. - Administration of Windows and Linux systems in Azure - Supporting automation through PowerShell, Azure CLI and related tools - Monitoring performance, cost, governance and security across cloud environments
We’re looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer who thrives on solving problems, working collaboratively, and delivering effective technical outcomes. Do you offer…?
- Demonstrated capability with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Proficiency in Azure Services
- Expertise in Windows and Linux system administration
- Highly proficient with cloud automation tools such as Azure DevOps, Git and Terraform
- Knowledge of network architecture including VPNs, firewalls and secure connectivity
- As a minimum, you must hold HNC or above in Computing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related field
We are offering a starting salary of between £47,513 and £84,595, with terms and conditions covered by the EDF Nuclear Generation Company Agreement. The starting salary for the appointment will be dependent on your existing salary, competence, experience and qualifications.
