FULL DESCRIPTION

Opportunity for a Labour Administrator (Sizewell C) working with Blackwell on the Sizewell C Project,

Main Duties:

  • Be the primary contact for all vetting activities, become "expert" in how the system works.
  • Enter candidate details, chase missing data, progress candidates through the vetting process
  • Assist the Labour Co-ordinator with activities below, as vetting workload allows.
  • Sort through applicants, keep a data base of applicants, shortlist candidates for phone interview.
  • Arrange onboarding of those who accept offers, including arranging medicals, inductions and security clearances as applicable.
  • Maintain site records of attendance, holidays, sickness (none HR).
  • Assist Training Manager with interviewing and onboarding of Trainee applicants, booking training courses, maintaining Training matrices.
  • Maintain records of leavers and reasons why
  • Drafting of Contracts for new starters and checking of Right To Work documents.
  • Maintain close relationships with labour agencies and utilise their workers to meet company targets for ratio of employed / hired in workers.
  • Issue of PPE and other consumable items

Qualifications/Experience:

Essential:

  • The ability to work at a fast pace, handling multiple tasks / queries for multiple candidates and ensure that none are "left behind".
  • Proficient in the use of Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
  • Accurate record keeping and knowledge of GDPR regulations in terms of what can and can't be stored.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal in person, by telephone, and emails.
  • Systematic & Logical approach to dealing with ongoing issues, ability to prioritise workload.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to change at a moment's notice. Resilience in the face of no-shows / candidates pulling out is essential.

Desirable:

  • Good working knowledge of employment law.
  • Possession of a driving licence and transport to attend the site office.
  • Possession of a CSCS card.
