Logistics Planner

Main Duties:

• You will be an experienced with planning software and visualisation software such as Power BI and DOMO.
• Manage weekly schedule briefings and plan for operational contingencies across the supply chain.
• Responsible for dynamic planning to site infrastructure changes (BAAs/VCAPs) in order to meet the demands of site distribution and capacity planning.
• You will be a critical contributor to the [Employer hidden] Control Tower ensuring that metrics are captured to support future planning and capacity requirements.
• Forecast, Plan and coordinate work activities through regular stakeholder meetings.
• Show the ability to problem solve and generate practical solutions. Challenge the orthodoxy.
• Communicate with the wider site teams to ensure planned schedules are completed accurately and on time.
• Support Planning Lead to deliver [Employer hidden] capacity and capability building through the lifecycle of the project.
• Support Logistics Teams in the development of capacity planning and reporting.
• Lead and foster a positive Nuclear Safety Culture.
• Work in accordance with [Employer hidden] employment policies and site operational procedures.
• Compliance with HPC and [Employer hidden] values
• Carry out any other reasonable request as required by your Line Manager.

Requirements:

• CITB HSE Test (Manager & Professional standard)
• Demonstrate experience in planning, coordinating, and complex logistics operations
• Show an ability to problem-solve and supply initiatives
• Strong communication skills with a can-do attitude
• Current planning software certification (e.g. MS Project)
• Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics.
• Excellent organisational skills,
• A strong understanding of construction operations.
