Change Management Lead (Sizewell C)

The Civil Works Alliance (CWA) require an experienced Change Management Lead to drive the successful delivery of Sizewell C-a critical project in the UK's clean energy future. Sizewell C will provide 3.2 gigawatts of reliable, low-carbon electricity to around 6 million homes for at least the next 60 years, making this a career-defining opportunity for the right individual.

As Change Management Lead, you will shape, manage, and implement all aspects of change across the CWA civils programme, ensuring every decision is aligned with safety, quality, time, and cost requirements. You will play a key leadership role in a programme that demands both strategic vision and operational discipline.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and govern the Change Management process across the CWA, ensuring compliance, rigour, and consistency
  • Coordinate and implement change activities, collaborating with technical, commercial, and delivery stakeholders on matters of programme, design, time, and cost
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of all change types, including client variations, compensation events, design changes, budget transfers, recovery plans, and changes to sourcing and construction strategies
  • Complete all due diligence prior to change approval, maintaining transparency and trust with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Safeguard the integrity of programme and cost baselines, integrating change data with project controls, cost, risk, and contract management frameworks
  • Maintain accurate and auditable records for compliance and strategic reporting
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to monitor performance, analyse trends, and drive continuous improvement
  • Champion digital systems such as Oracle Primavera Unifier and promote digital engineering to ensure seamless business reporting and performance measurement
  • Engage with IT, digital, and IM teams to optimise automation and integration of business systems
  • Foster a culture of health, safety, and nuclear safety, influencing and empowering teams to uphold the highest project standards
  • Build and maintain a diverse network of relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to both the client and stakeholders
  • Inspire high performance within the PMO and across the alliance, shaping and motivating teams to exceed project goals
  • Act as a visible ambassador for the CWA Strategic Roadmap and digital innovation across all functions

You will bring:

  • At least 12-15 years of experience leading project controls on large or mega infrastructure projects with leading tier 1 international contractors
  • Professional qualifications such as APM PMQ, APMG Project Planning and Control Practitioner, or equivalent (MRICS preferred)
  • Proven experience running contract, cost, and EVM systems (e.g. PRISM, Unifier, InEight)
  • Results-driven leadership style, with a focus on operational excellence, collaboration, and customer service
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to resolve complex challenges and influence at all levels
  • A proactive, adaptable approach and an energised attitude toward driving and managing change
