HSE Advisor

Hinkley Point C
Main Duties:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety legislation and company policies
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments
- Identify hazards and implement effective control measures
- Provide practical health & safety advice and support to staff and management
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and produce detailed reports
- Deliver toolbox talks and training sessions where required
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Promote a positive health & safety culture across the organisation
- Report to the Health & Safety Manager
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Health & Safety Advisor role or similar
- Strong knowledge of current health & safety legislation and best practices
- Relevant qualification (e.g. NEBOSH Certificate)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
