We are currently recruiting for Welcome Crew to join the team at [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] for the 2026 season.

Role: Welcome Crew

Contract: Seasonal April – September, with a view to extending to meet operational need

Located: [Employer hidden], Belfast International Watersports Resort, Knockbracken Reservoir, Mealough Road

Hours of Work: Various shift patterns are available, including day, evening and weekends

Job Summary

As Welcome Crew you will be responsible for the smooth running of our Activities reception area. This is a key area within the park as it’s the first contact we have with customers coming into the resort for any of our Aquapark activities –inflatable course, puddle park etc. Your days will be varied with reception duties of welcoming customers to the Aquapark, checking their booking details and disclaimers, assisting with queries, etc.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Using the resort system to check customers in for their activity and ensure that all the relevant disclaimers and safety information has been completed.
  • Explaining the operating procedures to customers in a clear and friendly manner so that it’s easy for them to understand.
  • Extensive knowledge of all resort services and facilities.
  • Providing great customer service to guests dealing queries and requests.
  • Thoroughly understand and adhere to proper credit card and cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Cross selling of selling additional products and services to customers.
  • Assist guests in making future bookings in order encourage repeat custom.
  • Attend departmental training and meetings to ensure you have up to date information.
  • Maintains cleanliness and neatness of the reception area.
  • Always following company health and safety procedures.
  • Ensuring an effecting handover of information between team members from shift to shift.
  • Friendly telephone manner when answering calls.
  • Stock control of customer supplies and amenities to ensure adequate supply and they are always stored correctly and securely.

Essential Experience Requirements:

  • Reception experience in either a leisure facility, hotel or resort
  • Customer Service in a fast-paced hospitality environment, in a call centre type environment would be desirable
  • Experience working with Office 365 applications
  • Experience with and understanding of GDPR would be desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Willingness to go above and beyond
  • Excellent people skills, passionate and enjoy working outdoors
  • Motivated, driven and enthusiastic
  • Right to work in the UK documentation
