ABOUT THE ROLE AND TEAM

As an Account Manager at [Employer hidden], you are accountable for driving profitable growth across a portfolio of airport customers in the Northern UK. This role has a strong business development focus, combining ownership of selected existing accounts with opening new opportunities where [Employer hidden] has limited or no footprint.

You will be part of the UK Sales team, reporting to the Head Of Sales Northern Europe. You will be working with a virtual, cross-functional group across Solution Design, Commercial Management, Bid Management and Pricing. The role is highly customer-facing and requires a visible local presence in the region.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Own and manage airport accounts with full accountability for revenue growth acting as trusted advisor
  • Actively identify growth opportunities by understanding the customer business needs and reframing their priorities through [Employer hidden]’s value proposition
  • Pursue and close new business opportunities across the airport portfolio
  • Drive pipeline development and accurate forecasting in close collaboration with the broader team
  • Maintain full visibility of all commercial, delivery and operational aspects of the account, driving resolutions with relevant process owners

 

Qualifications

ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

  • 5+ years’ experience in sales or account management, ideally in IT, aviation or complex B2B environments (Aviation experience is an advantage, but not mandatory)
  • Proven experience managing complex deals including negotiation and closing
  • Demonstrated success achieving revenue growth, hitting sales targets and developing strategic account plans
  • Experience building relationships at senior stakeholder level
  • Willingness to travel regionally and maintain strong customer presence
