FULL DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Project Finance Assistant to join our Global Financial Services (GFS) organization at [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk]. This role supports the financial operations of the business, with a particular focus on Order to Cash related activities. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their finance career to gain hands-on experience within a global organization. You’ll contribute to accurate client billing, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Support: Support process transitions and knowledge transfer across teams, contributing to documentation and scalable practices.
  • Project Finance Operations: Maintain and update project systems, ensuring accurate financial reporting. Execute operation activities such as processing revenue funding, update project actuals, and close out projects.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the Order to Cash process and respond to queries.
  • Compliance & Controls: Support adherence to SLAs, finance policies, and internal controls including SOX compliance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process enhancements by identifying simplification opportunities and supporting automation initiatives.
  • Team Culture: Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
  • Other: Perform other duties as required.

What You Bring to the Role

  • Experience: 1 years in finance, accounting, or audit, may include related internships.
  • Attention to Detail: Comfortable working with numbers and financial data with a high level of accuracy.
  • Systems: Skilled in Excel, finance systems, and billing tools. Oracle and AI Tools experience is a plus.
  • Continuous Improvement: Interest in identifying opportunities for simplification and efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Focus: Build professional, responsive relationships across teams.
  • Adaptability and Agility: Open to change and able to work in a dynamic environment. Quick to absorb new information and apply it effectively
  • Team Player: Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with others.
