The ideal candidate will be passionate about preparing delicious and nutritious meals that cater to the unique dietary needs and preferences of our residents. In this role, you will be entrusted with creating a variety of meal options, managing kitchen supplies, and maintaining high health and safety standards within the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with colleagues and management to ensure nutritional needs are met for each resident.
- Managing the ordering and receipt of kitchen supplies, and maintaining accurate records of the same.
- Overseeing adherence to health and safety standards within the kitchen.
- Developing a rotating menu with a variety of options to meet the needs and choices of all residents.
- Managing kitchen staff rota, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
- Overseeing the budget for the kitchen department.
- Cooking a variety of meals to meet dietary needs and preferences of residents.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Chef.
- Relevant qualification in food preparation and cooking.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to manage and oversee a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
