We are seeking a BIM Coordinator to support the delivery of complex civil and infrastructure works on a major UK nuclear programme. This role will sit within the Digital Engineering team and play a key part in ensuring coordinated, compliant, and high-quality digital deliverables across all project phases.

You will work across multidisciplinary teams, supporting the integration of design models, driving coordination, and ensuring alignment with project and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate federated BIM models across civil, structural, highways, drainage, and utilities disciplines
  • Undertake clash detection and model interrogation using Autodesk Navisworks, driving issue resolution with design and delivery teams
  • Support implementation of ISO 19650 processes, ensuring compliance with BEP, EIR, and project information standards
  • Manage and maintain workflows within the Common Data Environment (CDE), including platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud and ProjectWise
  • Ensure adherence to naming conventions, revision control, and information governance requirements
  • Carry out model validation, QA/QC checks, and digital audits
  • Coordinate civil and infrastructure models developed in Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley OpenRoads
  • Integrate survey, GIS, and existing asset data into project models
  • Support 4D planning and construction sequencing activities where required
  • Work within a highly regulated nuclear environment, ensuring digital outputs are traceable, auditable, and aligned to safety case requirements
  • Support delivery of asset data in line with Asset Information Requirements (AIR) and lifecycle needs
  • Engage with internal teams, supply chain partners, and client stakeholders to drive collaboration and coordinated delivery The Successful Candidate
  • Experience in a BIM Coordination role within major infrastructure, civil engineering, or regulated sectors (nuclear experience desirable)
  • Strong understanding of ISO 19650 and structured information management
  • Proficiency in: Autodesk Revit Navisworks Manage Civil 3D or Bentley equivalents
  • Demonstrable experience coordinating multidisciplinary models and managing clash detection workflows
  • Familiarity with CDE environments and digital delivery processes
  • Understanding of working in highly regulated environments, with strong attention to quality, compliance, and detail
  • Effective communicator with the ability to influence and coordinate across large project teams
  • Degree / HND in Civil Engineering, Construction, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Relevant BIM / Digital Engineering certifications (desirable)
  • CSCS card (or ability to obtain)
