FULL DESCRIPTION
Quality Engineer
Location: Whitehaven
Salary: £42000
Responsibilities
- Support project quality management system implementation
- Conduct audits and site inspections
- Review ITPs and quality documentation
- Monitor subcontractor quality performance
- Manage NCRs and corrective actions
- Support quality reporting and KPIs
- Ensure compliance with client standards
- Assist with handover documentation
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Interface with engineering and construction teams
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in Quality Engineering within civil engineering construction
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and QA processes
- Experience on regulated or infrastructure projects preferred
- Strong auditing and documentation capability
- Good stakeholder communication skills
- Engineering or construction qualification preferred
