Independence Support Ltd (ISL) provides high-quality supported living services in Alsager, Cheshire, supporting adults with complex mental health needs to live safely, confidently and as independently as possible. Our Alsager service supports 18 individuals in self-contained apartments enhanced by the latest assistive technology, creating a supportive and empowering environment.
The people we support enjoy a wide range of meaningful activities including arts and crafts, karaoke, quizzes, sports days and National Trust trips, helping build confidence, social connections and independence.

We’re looking for flexible, compassionate and committed Mental Health Support Workers who want to make a real difference. Experience is helpful but not essential – we value empathy, reliability and shared values just as much as previous experience.

What You’ll Do
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you’ll provide outcome-focused, person-centred support tailored to each individual. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting with medication management
- Teaching and encouraging independent living skills
- Assisting with daily living tasks and routines
- Supporting community access and social engagement
- Providing emotional support and building positive relationships
- Supporting with tenancy management
- Liaising with healthcare and mental health professionals to ensure holistic support
Your role helps people build confidence, stability and independence.
Who We’re Looking For
We are recruiting:
- Full-time Support Workers – 37.5 hours
- Part-time Support Workers – 23.5 hours
Staff must be able to work day and night shifts across a 7-day rota. Full induction and training are provided.
