Join Independence Support Ltd (ISL) and make a real difference in people’s lives.
We are looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our supported living project in Pudsey, Leeds (LS28). Our service empowers 10 individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs, each living in self-contained apartments supported by the latest assistive technology.

About the role
As a Support Worker, you’ll provide person-centred, outcome-focused care that promotes independence and builds vital life skills. No two days are the same – you’ll be supporting people to thrive at home and in the community.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with personal care and daily living tasks
- Supporting with medication management
- Teaching and encouraging life skills such as cooking, budgeting, and self-care
- Helping people access local community activities and services
- Offering emotional support and encouragement
- Supporting with tenancy management and independence in housing
- Working alongside healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes
What we’re looking for
We want compassionate, flexible, and reliable people who are passionate about supporting others.
Requirements:
- Full-time availability (37.5 hours per week)
- Ability to work a variety of day and night shifts across a 7-day rota
- Commitment to providing respectful, person-centred care
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential – full induction training is provided

- Contract: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Shift patterns: Days, nights, weekends (rota basis)
- All roles subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references
