FULL DESCRIPTION

The Project Coordinator will assist the Director of Engineering and Project Managers in effectively coordinating ongoing projects, including the integration of new portfolios, tactical and technology projects as well as process improvement initiatives. This entails monitoring project plans, schedules, budgets, and expenditures, as well as facilitating and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive project charters, Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Organise, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings.
  • Document and follow up on actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Determine project changes.
  • Prepare budget and co-ordinate budget activities across engineering.
  • Provide administrative support as needed.
  • Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.

The Project Coordinator will have:

  • A relevant degree such as computers, technical or business management or significant relevant experience.
  • 2 years’ experience in a related field
  • Experience of all stages of project management including requirement gathering and creating detailed project plans
  • Demonstrable experience in presenting status reports to senior management
  • Clear passion for customer experience and ease of use
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Strong planning and organising skills
  • Evidence of contribution to developing best practice and process

This is a fixed term contract position for 12 months (with possibility of extension) based at our Belfast headquarters working a hybrid model of at least 3 days onsite per week.
