Description

We are seeking a Chartered Temporary Works Design Engineer to join a leading organisation on a permanent basis, working with a key role within the in-house design team. This is working and leading design of projects related to deep basement, demolition, façade retention, crane base, propping, retaining walls, piling, steel structures and more.

Skills and Experience

Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer (CEng MICE or MIStructE) Experience working with a well-respected consultancy or contractors in-house design team Experience in temporary works design Leadership skills to manage project teams and create positive change

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertaking detailed design of retaining, bearing & frame structures
  • Leading design conceptualisation
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians
  • Assisting change and developing more efficiency
  • Working closely with broader project teams.
