Senior Design Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical)

A London based buildings design engineer is seeking a Building Services Design Engineer with a focus on Mechanical or Electrical engineering. The role involves designing and developing building systems, including HVAC, lighting, power distribution, and plumbing to meet client needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop building systems, focusing on Mechanical or Electrical engineering aspects.
  • Collaborate with project teams to gather requirements and develop design strategies.
  • Create detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Evaluate system performance and propose improvements for energy efficiency.
  • Coordinate with contractors and other stakeholders during the construction phase.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and quality.

Requirements:
