Development Manager - ESOL

Commencing at £37,375 with progression to £40,835 per annum

Leeds, United Kingdom

What You Will Do

- Lead on the formative assessment processes for accredited and non-accredited ESOL groups, from initial assessments, to diagnostic handbooks, tutorial assessments and end of year progression assessments. - Lead on the summative Trinity assessment processes for accredited ESOL groups, including the coordination of Trinity exams for all ESOL groups at Entry 3.and above - Lead on the E3-L2 provision with line management of staff. - Engage with the department’s mission values and ethos; and actively ensure the department and its staff live up to the standards of the central mission statement.

- Confident to develop and deliver strategies to improve progression, retention, achievement, success and attendance - Can work positively across departments to maintain relationships which maximise student outcomes and staff upskilling - Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work independently - Proven line management of staff - An ambassador for digital inclusion and empowering staff and students to be digitally literate
