HE Lecturer - Health

The HE Health Department at the UCLeeds are looking for a dynamic individual to join and complement our current team. Supporting the delivery of our portfolio of Health programmes at undergraduate level: Health and Wellbeing, Health Play Specialists, Healthcare Assistant Practitioner and a Health and Social Care Top Up Award. The Department is nationally recognised for our accredited Higher Technical Qualifications, which support employer partnership and apprenticeships. The Department also has strong public sector links locally, creating the Health and Wellbeing professionals of the future

About the Role

  • Plan, prepare, develop and lead on Modules to include session plans, teaching and learning resources and assessment plans.
  • Be responsible for recording student progress including retention and achievement
  • Undertake review processes to develop and improve identified course(s).
  • Participate in student recruitment activities, including interviews and open events

About You

  • You will be able to deliver high quality teaching, learning and academic support within a Higher Education setting.
  • Able to participate in research/knowledge transfer and support outreach
