Complex Care HCA – Your Role

As a Complex Care Healthcare Assistant for [Employer hidden] Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of safe, outstanding care of our male twin clients in Aylesbury.

You’ll be part of a consistent care team, typically supporting our client at a time in this stable, long-term role.

To be eligible, you must be a strong swimmer with a bubbly and engaging personality. You will support with the below care requirements:

  • Cerebral palsy
  • Dystonia
  • Oral suctioning
  • PEG feeding
  • Oxygen therapy
  • Seizure management

What We’re Looking For

  • Confident swimmer
  • At least 12 months of complex care experience
  • Experience with complex needs would be advantageous
  • Compassion, professionalism, and reliability
  • Good communication skills and IT confidence
  • Willingness to be part of a family-centred care team
  • Hold an understanding of safeguarding
  • Ability to recognise deterioration in both psychological and physical health
