Your Role

As a Complex Care Assistant for [Employer hidden] Group, you will work alongside Registered Nurse and play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of safe, outstanding care of our client in Reading. You will be supporting a young adult male living with brain injury.

Clinical skills required:

  • Suction
  • PEG feeding
  • Wound care
  • Bowel care (including manual evacuation)
  • Seizure management

Experience with individuals with sight and hearing impairment would be advantageous.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 12 months of care experience including seizure management and suctioning
  • Experience with complex needs would be advantageous
  • Compassion, professionalism, and reliability
  • Good communication skills and IT confidence
  • Willingness to be part of a family-centred care team
  • Hold an understanding of safeguarding
  • Ability to recognise deterioration in both psychological and physical health
