Job description

[Employer hidden] are partnering with a global creative studio that specialises in crafting immersive, cutting-edge experiences for world-class brands, by blending creativity with sophisticated technology, they deliver standout work across digital, live, and hybrid environments. They are now seeking a proactive and highly organised Resource Manager to sit at the heart of their project delivery team. You will be the central connection point between creative, production, finance, and talent teams, ensuring the right people are aligned with the right projects at the right time.

Key responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of resource allocation, maintaining visibility 4–6 weeks ahead to identify pinch points and recommend solutions like re-sequencing or freelance support.
  • Build and nurture a diverse network of freelance talent, overseeing the end-to-end process from rationale and budgeting to onboarding and compliance.
  • Create, develop and maintain a high-quality database of freelance contacts across all key disciplines.
  • Oversee the administration of freelancer onboarding, including contracts, compliance with IR35 requirements and coordination of IT setup and access.
  • Partner with Producers and Finance to generate realistic timelines, manage IT resource allocation, and protect project margins.
  • Lead weekly resource meetings and proactively trial AI or automation tools to streamline our operational workflows.
  • Work closely with department heads and project leads to identify resource gaps and proactively manage solutions to close them.
  • Champion “internal first” resourcing: ensure permanent teams are fully and appropriately utilised before engaging freelancers or external support.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for studio and production capacity, providing clear, timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Forecast resource demand and utilisation, generating regular reports that highlight risks, gaps and opportunities.
  • Provide data and insight to support workforce planning and hiring decisions.

Skills required:

  • 3+ Years experience in a resource management role within a creative, production or project-based agency
  • Strong ability to match specific skill sets to project requirements
  • Expert in resource management tools (eg Paprika/Figma), and productivity suites (Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace)
  • Proven experience automating processes, using AI to streamline workflows

Hours: Full time

Salary: £40-45,000, dependent on experience

Office Location: Central East London

Office requirements: 3 days per week in the office
