FULL DESCRIPTION

Credit Control Premium Finance

Brentwood

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and actively collect premium payments via telephone, email and text message
  • Setting up and servicing clients credit agreements via our 3rd party premium finance provider
  • Processing and allocating client payments
  • Negotiating and maintaining payment plans
  • Query resolution
  • Instructing underwriters to cancel premiums for non-payment
  • Chasing overdue debt

Skills, Knowledge, Experience & Personal Qualities Required:

  • Minimum 2 years credit control experience ideally working within the insurance industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Empathetic approach to vulnerable customers
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Understanding of regulatory standards and practices
  • Microsoft Excel knowledge (xlookups & pivot tables)
  • Experience using Open Gi system advantageous but not essential
  • Good understanding of premium finance products advantageous but not essential
