FULL DESCRIPTION

Change Strategy Manager

This is a hybrid role with the expectation to be able to work from our Manchester office 1-2 times a week.

This is an exciting management position, responsible for translating Business Plans into Change Roadmaps, executing strategic planning cycles, and owning and driving Functional Improvement activity.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Partner with stakeholders across various functions to understand their business  objectives and plan.
  • Produce high level change roadmaps providing forward visibility of strategic changes, aligned to those objectives.
  • Support prioritisation conversations to ensure change is strategically aligned, affordable and do-able.
  • Work in partnership with the PMO and Finance Teams to produce transparent, fact-based information into Portfolio Review Forums, Change Committee(s) and other key Change decision making forums to drive optimal investment decisions.
  • Work in Partnership with the Associate Director of Change Strategy, PMO and Finance to plan and execute quarterly and annual strategic planning processes to continually review and agree change investment.

Functional Improvement

  • Own and execute improvements to Change Function processes, to increase efficiency, improve service offerings, and reduce costs.
  • Oversee the delivery of the Change People Plan.
  • Produce strategic stakeholder updates (outside of typical change reporting) such as board deep dives, INED requests and due diligence requests.

Other

  • Deputise for the Associate Director of Change Strategy as and when required.
  • Encourage, support and coach other team members across the function in their own development.
  • Undertake other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required in line with the role level.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong senior stakeholder management skills
  • Background in Finance, Strategy, M&A or Investment
  • Worked within a Programme or Project Environment in a complex organisation
  • Excellent financial skills
  • Excellent presentational skills, specifically in Powerpoint
  • Understanding of AI tools
