[Employer hidden] Group is one of the UK’s leading insurance providers, with c.£1.2bn in premium and a growing presence across personal and commercial lines. As we continue to invest in advanced pricing and analytics capabilities, we are looking for a Strategic Finance Manager to join our Pricing function and help shape key commercial decisions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified ACA from a Big 4 or Top 10 firm looking to move into a strategic, commercially focused role with real business impact.

The Opportunity

Working closely with the Head of Strategic Finance, you will sit at the intersection of finance, pricing and strategy, delivering insight that directly influences senior leadership decisions.

You’ll move beyond traditional reporting into forward-looking analysis, modelling and strategic partnering, gaining exposure to how a large, data-driven insurance business operates at scale.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and develop multi-year P&L models to support strategic planning and decision-making
• Partner with Pricing, Finance and wider business teams to assess the financial impact of initiatives
• Deliver financial and pricing KPI reporting to senior stakeholders
• Support and lead income optimisation and strategic projects
• Prepare and present materials for senior stakeholder meetings
• Translate complex data into clear, commercially focused insight
• Contribute to the development and execution of the Strategic Finance roadmap

What We’re Looking For

• ACA qualified (or equivalent) – ideally trained in Big 4 or Top 10 practice
• Background in Transaction Services, Audit, Deals, or Financial Modelling highly relevant
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills (Excel, large datasets, Power Query)
• Commercial mindset with the ability to translate numbers into business insight
• Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
• Experience working across multiple teams or projects

We are also open to candidates from industry backgrounds (FP&A / Commercial Finance / Strategic Finance), provided they bring strong modelling capability and a strategic mindset.
