Product Assurance Manager
A brand-new opportunity has arisen for a Contract Product Assurance Manager to join a global leader in the research and development of high technology instrumentation for the Space industry based near Oxford. The company’s key clients include both national and international space agencies like NASA and European Space Agency as well as working across the commercial market supporting missions that include Earth observation, IoT satellite constellations and global positioning systems. The Product Assurance Manager will need to have experience of working within the Space industry along with associated regulations (ECSS etc.)
Essential requirements
- Degree education within a technical engineering subject e.g. Mechanical or Electrical/Electronics or Science like Physics OR equivalent qualification.
- Recent and relevant experience within the space industry within a quality/product assurance capacity i.e. Experience delivering PA engineering on spacecraft projects.
- Experience inspecting and accepting spacecraft hardware.
- Experience producing technical Product Assurance documentation: Materials, Process, Components and Parts Lists; Hazard Analysis; Reliability and FMECA Reports
- A strong knowledge and understanding of European Space Industry standards (ECSS)
- An ability to interpret European Space Industry standards (ECSS) and develop compliant solutions.
