Lead Veterinary Surgeon

We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to take the next step in their career and join us as Lead Vet at our well-established Muswell Hill practice. This is an excellent opportunity to combine clinical expertise with leadership, guiding a skilled and supportive team while shaping the future direction of the clinic.

Lead Veterinary Surgeon

Salary: £65,000-£75,000 DOE fte

    We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to take the next step in their career and join us as Lead Vet at our well-established Muswell Hill practice.

    This is an excellent opportunity to combine clinical expertise with leadership, guiding a skilled and supportive team while shaping the future direction of the clinic.

    As Lead Vet, you will be accountable for the clinical leadership of the veterinary team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care for patients and clients, while maintaining the highest standards of compliance with regulatory and practice requirements. You will work closely with the Practice Manager to support the growth and commercial success of the practice, making this a role with both clinical and strategic influence.

    This position is ideally suited to a Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of 4 years UK experience, confident in routine surgery, diagnostics, and case management, who is ready to develop their leadership skills.     This role is offered as a four-day working week (9:00–19:00 with a one-hour lunch break), with participation in the weekend rota (1 in 6 full weekends).
