Social Worker
Southwark is seeking qualified Social Workers with experience working with children and families. The role involves working systemically and collaboratively in small practice groups, with manageable caseloads and administrative support. The position requires a recognized social work qualification, ASYE completion, and HCPC registration. Benefits include a competitive salary, annual leave, and a pension scheme.
The role
We have Social Worker vacancies in the following Services:
- Assessment and Intervention, Inc Pre Birth Team, Children with Disabilities Team
- Safeguarding and Family Support Service
- Special Guardianship Assessment Team
Southwark redesigned its Children’s Social Care to enable us work systemically and collaboratively in small practice groups to help improve the lives of children and families. Are you a qualified Social Worker with significant experience of working with children and families. You will have completed your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) and hold a recognised social work qualification together with demonstrable experience of working with children and families in highly complex situations.
We need people who are committed to improving the life experience for children and families and supporting them to manage without statutory support, when possible. We could use your help to deliver excellent, high quality, social work services to children and families so join us and help us to create a culture which maintains its focus on families and prioritises direct work.
We are committed to freeing you up to do social work and will provide manageable case-loads with additional administrative support so you can spend more time working with families than in front of your computer.
