Data Officer
The Data Officer will provide comprehensive data and systems support to Pension Services, ensuring the data for its 27,000+ members is complete and up-to-date, and that primary systems are maintained. The role will be varied and will also include production of statistics and MI, communicating with the fund's employers, and maintaining Pension Services' systems. The successful candidate will be joining us at an exciting time where we are changing the main administration system, and will be involved in the development and testing of that system.
The role
We are looking for a Data Officer to join the Data Systems Team within Southwark Pensions Services. The Data Officer will provide comprehensive data and systems support to Pension Services, ensuring the data for its 27,000+ members is complete and up-to-date, and that primary systems are maintained.
The role will be varied and will also include production of statistics and MI, communicating with the fund's employers, and maintaining Pension Services' systems. The successful candidate will be joining us at an exciting time where we are changing the main administration system, and will be involved in the development and testing of that system.
Southwark Pensions Services manage the Southwark Local Government Pension Scheme Fund, as well as data management and administration for other pension schemes that Southwark employees are eligible for, such as Teachers' Pensions and NEST. About You
The successful applicant will have previous experience in a data administration role with an excellent working knowledge of different computer systems, and the ability to pick up new systems and software quickly. They will have an eye for detail and knowledge of data confidentiality practices and regulations.
Prior experience of working with pensions is beneficial but not essential.
Additional Information
This is a standard full-time role with a contracted 36 hours per week. The successful candidate should be prepared to work remotely for the foreseeable future. A laptop will be provided.
