The Role:
The job will involve monitoring and reporting on street trading activities, including enforcement and market cleanliness.
As the first point of contact within markets you will work 36 hours a week with an alternating shift pattern.. To thrive in this role you need to enjoy working directly with the public and market traders, be quick thinking and able to follow up and resolve situations in a fast moving environment. We operate markets across the borough and a clean full driving licence is essential.
About You:
We need a skilled individual to join a borough wide team who are passionate about developing Southwark’s markets.
Your background in markets or a similar customer based environment, provides you with a good working knowledge of effective communication, both in person and in writing, you will be able to manage difficult situations.
Managing data and producing basic reports to meet service objectives, will be skills that you have developed as a result of experience.
Additional salary details
Basic Pay plus shift allowance and weekend enhancement applicable.
