FULL DESCRIPTION

The SEND Team at [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking an Assessment Officer to support the assessment phase of the SEND process. The role involves liaising with external agencies, parents, schools, and internal teams, requiring excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills. The Role:

The SEND Team are responsible for providing parents, children and external agencies with clear information on the Council’s SEND processes and services which include school admissions for SEND pupils with a EHCP, transfers to EHCPs and EHCP monitoring.

This role monitors and supports the assessment phase of the process by liaising with external agencies, parents, schools and internal teams.

This role will include liaising with different teams and engaging with a diverse range of professionals, so excellent customer service skills are important.

About You:

You will be highly organised & proactive helping to provide outstanding administrative support to our service. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to support colleagues.

You will be able to work collaboratively in a team and also work independently using your own initiative. You will have IT and organisational skills.

This role would be a great opportunity to expand your skills, knowledge and experience.
