Are you an accomplished and dynamic leader ready to take on a pivotal role within a thriving organisation?

We're seeking a Head of Business Operations to join our client's team and play a key role in driving excellence across the organisation. As a leader in their field, they pride themselves on innovation, excellence, and fostering a collaborative workplace where employees feel valued, inspired, and empowered.

In this role, you'll work closely with the Managing Directors to ensure seamless operations, inspire teams, and deliver strategic objectives.

Description of the role:

  • Lead and support a team of six, including managers, an HR Generalist, and a Business Operations Assistant, through regular one-to-ones and strategic guidance.
  • Collaborate with senior management to implement business strategies that align with organisational goals.
  • Streamline daily activities and optimise processes to drive performance and achieve company objectives.
  • Identify operational risks and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including UK Health and Safety standards.
  • Manage budgets for operational departments, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.
  • Deliver key initiatives on time and within budget, while providing direct support to Managing Directors on special projects.
  • Foster transparent, consistent communication across teams and stakeholders, ensuring everyone is informed of updates and changes.

About you:

  • Proven experience as a Business Operations Manager or similar leadership role.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR practices and compliance.
  • Proficiency in process improvement and risk management.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience managing budgets and driving key projects.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, thriving in fast-paced environments.
