Purchase Coordinator
A key client of ours based in Leicester has just gone through a significant period of growth. Due to an increase in business are now seeking to appoint a Purchase Coordinator to provide essential support the Procurement team.
Description of the role:
- Provide support to the wider procurement team.
- Submitting purchase orders, updating records, responding to order issues and liaising with suppliers, with the intent of goods arriving to a schedule deadline.
- To take ownership and responsibility for select accounts
- Forecast and maintain stock levels to meet current and future demand.
- Develop strong relationships with key suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers.
- Support Purchasing manager in all key areas
- Follow up and review product deliveries, with issued purchase order/sales orders, and resolve any discrepancies
About you:
- Previous experience withing purchasing
- Passionate about driving procurement efficiencies
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong IT skills
