People Coordinator

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are proud to be working with one of Oxfordshire's most exciting and unique food service providers, they are currently looking to recruit for a People's Coordinator to manage the recruitment process of event staff.

Description of the role:

  • Manage the recruitment process end to end, managing of job advertisements, shortlisting and screening of applicants, presenting offers, managing RTW documentation
  • Run inductions/training sessions off-site at nationwide locations.
  • Communicate with event staff to book into correct shifts when required, updating booking sheets, and liaise with agencies to book staff as and when required
  • Prepare all daily, pre-& post event paperwork including labour costs, payroll submissions and freelance invoices
  • Submit payroll to payroll department
  • Manage onsite check-in and check-out of event staff
  • Build working relationships with venue managers, event organisers & recruitment agencies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our pool of event staff and fixed site managers (Absolute Taste) with the objective of sharing casual staff and thereby reducing labour costs

About you:

  • Experience working in events or catering in a staffing or recruitment capacity
  • Understanding of large-scale recruitment drives
  • The ideal candidate would have previously delivered inductions and on-boarding sessions
  • Able to maintain and develop positive working relationships at all levels
  • Good personal presentation, able to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
  • Able to act on own initiative and have strong administration and organisational skills
  • Experience in using staff booking and payroll systems as well as a strong knowledge in Excel and Word
