Job Description

[Employer hidden] Ltd is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of assigned projects. This role requires managing diverse teams and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for liaising with customers, capturing requirements, and working closely with internal stakeholders to meet business and client objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from receipt of order to commissioning, including project scheduling and resource management.
• Identify and provide reliable solutions for technical issues to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Track and monitor the progress of allocated projects concerning time, cost, and quality.
• Manage project resource demand and participate in resource levelling through accurate business forecasting.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.
• Report, raise, and escalate project issues, risks, and potential problems
• Lead bid estimating teams and coordinate technical and commercial bid efforts in collaboration with engineering and estimating teams.
• Ensure contract compliance and protect IPM’s contractual rights while negotiating scope variations where necessary.
• Oversee change management, ensuring all written documentation required under the contract is prepared and submitted on time.
• Develop, approve, and implement project execution plans.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.
• Define roles, responsibilities, and authorities for project team members, ensuring effective delegation and oversight.
• Monitor project risk profiles and implement mitigation strategies.
• Conduct contingency planning and oversee lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Arrange and attend client and subcontractor meetings as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven track record in successful project leadership.
• Experience in delivering lump sum turn-key projects is highly desirable.
• Broad technical knowledge and leadership experience in project delivery, including engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, and construction.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with clients, executive management, project teams, and vendors.
• Minimum three years’ experience in a Project Manager role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical subject is essential.
• Proficiency in estimating techniques to derive project costs.
• Good knowledge of contract models and their application in different project environments.
• Ability to develop and execute multi-phase project plans effectively.
