FULL DESCRIPTION

Volunteer Retail Assistant (Hoddesdon 1)

We are looking for Retail Volunteers to assist us in our Hoddesdon Shop on the High Street. If you have a few hours to spare each week and would like to help out in our shop, we’d love to hear from you! This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved and make a meaningful impact.

What you’ll be doing:

Under the leadership of your Shop Manager, you will be assisting with

  • Providing the highest standard of service to customers
  • Keeping the shop fully stocked and ensuring items are displayed to show them at their best
  • Operating tills and taking payments
  • Ensuring both stock and cash security procedures are always followed
  • Contributing to keeping the shop and premises clean and tidy
  • Providing support and guidance to new volunteers to help them settle into their roles
  • Promoting the public’s understanding of the work of [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] and the importance of raising funds through the shop
  • Raising awareness of Gift Aid to our customers
  • Promoting and applying the [Employer hidden] Health & Safety Policy

Am I eligible to volunteer?

  • At least 18 years old
  • Live within an easy commute to the area
  • Interested in volunteering for at least 6 months for at least 3 hours per week
