FULL DESCRIPTION

Receptionist / Administrator

Location: Raynes Park Health Centre, 1 Lambton Rd, London SW20 0LW

Contract Type: Permanent - Full Time

Hours: 40 hours per week, working shifts between the hours of 8.00am and 8.00pm covering 5 days per week Monday to Saturday

Salary: £12.85 per hour

As Receptionist / Administrator, you are responsible for supporting the overall Reception function within the Clinic. You will ensure that patients receive a friendly, efficient and professional service. You are a crucial part of the team looking after the day-to-day running of the clinic.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Check in patients, manage appointments (bookings, follow-ups, cancellations), and ensure a smooth patient journey.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally, directing queries appropriately and providing accurate information to patients, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Post letters, handle documentation, audit trails, and consultant referral/charge sheets accurately.
  • Assist with doctors' and nurses' administrative needs and responding to queries.
  • Understand self-funding/insured patient processes, take payments/deposits, process refunds, and liaise with the bookings team.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures for all tasks, including internal referrals, patient documentation, and end-of-day responsibilities.
