Lead Mental Health Therapist - Mindplace Chertsey
Location: Mindplace Chertsey clinic, 124 Melita House, Chertsey, KT16 8LA
Travel: Regular travel to [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Mindplace clinic sites (several times a month; subject to change)
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours)
Hours: Flexibility required, including evenings and weekends as service needs

What You'll Do
- Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of mental health clinicians, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
- Deliver high-quality therapy sessions while managing a clinical caseload.
- Oversee clinical governance, audits, and compliance to ensure best practice.
- Mentor and develop clinicians, supporting their professional journey.
- Work closely with operational teams to enhance customer experience and business performance.
- Adapt and respond quickly to changing service needs, driving strategic initiatives and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Proven extensive leadership experience in a clinical setting, with the ability to motivate and guide teams through change.
- Supervisor training and experience in team development.
- Expertise in mental health therapies (CBT, counselling, psychology).
- Strong clinical governance knowledge and ability to manage compliance.
- Agility and flexibility to work at pace and adapt during times of growth and transformation.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and decision-making skills.
One of the following professional qualifications:
- Chartered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist (Doctorate, BPS & HCPC registered
- Accredited CBT Psychotherapist (Postgraduate Diploma, BABCP accredited)
- Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist (Level 4+ Diploma, BACP accredited)
