Head of Compliance Advisory - Insurance

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the UK Insurance Compliance Business Partner team
• Partner with senior leaders across the business to offer practical, professional compliance advice and challenge.
• Embed compliance into decision-making processes
• Oversee new propositions, business operations and incident resolution
• Collaborate with other advisory leads
• Maintain strong relationships with business managers and act as a trusted advisor.
• Support the Chief Compliance Officer and Advisory Director
• Act as Deputy to the Advisory Director when needed, attending key forums and steering groups.
• Horizon scanning for regulatory developments

What we're looking for

• Significant experience in a senior compliance advisory role
• Ideally Financial Services / Insurance sector background
• Gravitas to collaborate with Executive level stakeholders
• Demonstrable people management skills
• Ability to navigate corporate matrix environment
• Excellent compliance regulatory knowledge, (FCA & PRA)
• Sound judgement and the ability to balance business needs with regulatory requirements
