As the Claims Operations Manager working within the wider Customer Support team you will be responsible for Claiming Operations at [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk]. You will lead several teams within the UK and Overseas and will endeavour to deliver world class service for our customers in ensuring we pay private medical insurance claims quickly, accurately and consistently.

  • Leading several teams, including front line managers in the UK and overseas, completing claims adjudication and other supporting functions.
  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement including a focus of customer experience.
  • Managing complex operations, with the use of MI to drive world class outcomes for our customers and providers.
  • Delivering and managing change, including project management.
  • Working with other areas of the business completing root cause analysis and identifying opportunities to create customer experience enhancements or service efficiencies.
  • Managing risks and incidents that relate to claims adjudication
  • Supporting in the development and ongoing management of Healthcare delivery initiatives ensuring that the message is understood and that coaching plans support areas of focus.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • Experience in specialist operations management and managing large teams, preferably within the financial/insurance sector or other similar regulated environments.
  • Problem solving skills, including strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to tackle complex operational challenges.
  • A proven track record of successfully managing budgets
  • Experience in overseeing and delivering complex projects or change, ensuring they meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Familiarity with relevant operational tools and software, specifically with the ability to review, monitor and manage MI outputs and ensure that operational targets are being met.
