Salary: £15,433.44 per annum for first 12 months rising to National Minimum Wage for Age
Annual Leave: 30 days per annum plus bank holidays
Contractual hours: 37 hours per week
Basis: Apprenticeship Contract, Full Time, Fixed Term, L3 Apprenticeship, Duration 21 months

As an apprentice, you’ll play a key role in delivering a high-quality admissions service, supporting prospective and progressing students with information, advice and guidance. From handling enquiries and processing applications to working closely with academic and support teams, you’ll be at the heart of the student journey. Key Responsibilities
- Provide prospective students with clear, accurate information and advice about the College’s education and training opportunities via email, WhatsApp, telephone, and in‑person interactions.
- Offer guidance on application processes, key deadlines, and entry requirements to support informed decision‑making.
- Assist applicants with completing application forms and enrolment documentation, tailoring support to individual needs.
- Make appropriate referrals to specialist College staff or external agencies to ensure applicants receive the support they require.
- Process applications efficiently using the College MIS system (ProSolution) and maintain accurate records of enquiries, applications, interviews, and offers across both electronic and manual systems.
- Communicate professionally with students and parents, both over the phone and face‑to‑face, regarding applications and admissions queries.
- Support the Admissions Team Leader in the development and implementation of a paperless admissions process.
- Build effective working relationships with cross‑College administrative teams and academic staff to coordinate interviews and manage applicant correspondence.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Minimum qualification of a Level 2 or above in an appropriate area i.e. Business Administration, Customer Service.
- Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
- A commitment to undertake any mandatory training relevant to the role.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good IT skills.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Proactive and enthusiastic
- Ability to deal sensitively with confidential issues and data.
- Ability to accurately input, check and collate data.
- Commitment to attention to detail including excellent proof-reading skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of financial assistance available to support learners – Desirable.
- To have knowledge of ProSolution – Desirable.
