Senior Programme Manager - New Verticals

Our mission is to transform the way people shop and eat — connecting consumers, restaurants, shops, and riders to bring the neighbourhood to their door. We’re redefining convenience by giving customers the ability to buy what they want, as they want it, when and where they want it.

[Employer hidden] is a technology-driven company at the forefront of one of the world’s most dynamic industries. We are a relatively small team making a very large impact — moving fast, valuing ownership, and tackling some of the most interesting challenges in global commerce. We’re driven by innovation, autonomy, and the ambition to deliver exceptional experiences for our customers, partners, and riders alike.

As a Senior Programme Manager for New Verticals, you will be at the heart of [Employer hidden]'s future growth, helping to shape the future of our on-demand grocery and retail businesses. You will sit within the Strategy & Operations (S&O) team, a group focused on solving some of [Employer hidden]'s most complex and cross functional challenges. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Enablement & GTM, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation of key strategic projects that provide a seamless experience for our customers and partners globally.

You will own and manage a diverse range of strategic projects from concept to completion. You will work closely with leads from across Commercial, Operations, Marketing, Product and Legal to be the driving force that brings our most important initiatives and launches to life.

- End-to-End Project Ownership: Lead the entire lifecycle of complex projects—from initiation and planning to execution and closure—ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to budget.

- Strategic Go-to-Market Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for projects and product offerings, collaborating closely with all relevant teams to ensure a successful launch.

- Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers, ensuring clear communication and timely escalation to senior leadership to keep projects on track.

- Process Optimisation: Drive continuous improvement by analysing our performance, refining our launch playbooks, and streamlining processes to make us faster and more effective with every initiative.

- Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the central point of contact for your projects, managing communications and aligning internal and external stakeholders to ensure everyone is moving towards the same goal. You will be required to facilitate decision making and be comfortable making a decision when the group can’t agree.

- Proven experience in programme or project management, successfully delivering complex, cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.

- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing and collaborating effectively within a complex, matrixed organisation.

- Strong analytical abilities, with experience using data to spot trends, diagnose problems, and inform decision-making.

- A proactive and adaptable mindset, with the ability to confidently manage competing priorities and navigate ambiguity.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with senior leaders and external partners.

- (Bonus) Experience in e-commerce, technology, retail, or grocery sectors would be an advantage.

At [Employer hidden], we believe a great workplace is one that represents the world we live in and how beautifully diverse it can be. That means we have no judgement when it comes to any one of the things that make you who you are - your gender, race, sexuality, religion or a secret aversion to coriander. All you need is a passion for (most) food and a desire to be part of one of the fastest-growing businesses in a rapidly growing industry.

We are committed to diversity, equity and inclusion in all aspects of our hiring process. We recognise that some candidates may require adjustments to apply for a position or fairly participate in the interview process. If you require any adjustments, please don't hesitate to let us know. We will make every effort to provide the necessary adjustments to ensure you have an equitable opportunity to succeed.
