As a Vehicle Technician in one of our workshops, you'll mostly be repairing and maintaining our fleet of delivery vehicles, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy to both VOSA and Partnership standards.

As a Vehicle Technician in one of our workshops, you'll mostly be repairing and maintaining our fleet of delivery vehicles, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy to both VOSA and Partnership standards.
You’ll be working with many experienced technicians and they will ensure you have all the tools you need to succeed and excel in your role. Giving you the opportunities to develop your knowledge and progress your career.
In addition to your contractual pay, any time worked between 18:00 - 22:00 will attract an Evening Premium at a rate of £3.25 per hour, and any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00 will attract a Night Premium at a rate of £4.25 per hour. This will also apply to existing Partners who have enrolled onto Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements.

Salary: The salary offered for this role is up to £55,000, depending on skills and experience, plus overtime is readily available.
Working Hours: Full time role, 37.5 hours per week on a 2 week rota, plus working 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, at premium overtime rate.
- Week 1: Monday to Friday - 06:00-14:00
- Week 2: Monday to Friday - 14:00-22:00
Contract type: This is a permanent role
Location: Leylands RDC
What you'll be doing
● You’ll be working on our large HGV fleet. It will be your job to ensure all vehicles are maintained to a safe and roadworthy standard to both DVSA and Partnership’s requirements.
● Ensuring that relevant sections of all inspections, services and defect sheets are completed in compliance with our ‘O’ Licence obligations, administration and accurate reporting using our fleet management programme Key2
● You’ll be aware of best practices and current commercial vehicle repair techniques, to ensure high-quality repairs are carried out in a cost-effective manner and that the use of spare parts and consumables reflect the level of work carried out.

Essential Experience/Qualifications required:
- City and Guilds Level 3 Vehicle technician or equivalent qualifications
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- A proven background in transport commercial vehicle repairs
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and roadworthiness
Desirable Skills:
- IRTEC
- LGV C+E Driving Licence
