We are looking for experienced self-employed Automation Engineers to work with us on installation, servicing and maintenance projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sites in the UK.

We’re looking for contractors with:

• Proven experience as an Automation Engineer / Field Service Engineer
• Strong electrical, mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
• Familiarity with automation safety systems, control systems and ancillaries
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
• Own vehicle, tools and PPE
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• DHF or ADSA Certified Training
• CSCS/IPAF (desirable)

What you’ll do:

• Install, service and maintain automated gate and access systems
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and control issues
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Deliver excellent customer service on-site and through follow-up reports
• Flexibility to complete reporting work from home
