Daisychain and Rowans Family Centres are looking for passionate and professional Enhanced Practitioners to join their teams. Job Introduction

​Daisychain and Rowans Family Centres are looking for passionate and professional Enhanced Practitioners to join their teams. This role offers the opportunity under direction to develop, lead and sustain a supportive environment, which focuses on the delivery of family centre core elements, in particular concentrating on children and families who are in greatest need in order to achieve positive outcomes, including raising educational achievements, reducing health inequalities and assisting in offering employment support This post is subject to safer recruitment.

Main Responsibility

  • Support the Centre Lead, co-ordinating on the design and delivery of the family centre services programme, that reflects and responds to the local need, particularly through building and maintaining strong productive links with key partners.
  • Develop and implement strategies designed to engage with hard to reach families and promote and encourage their participation in the family centre services.
  • Promote and deliver a range of activities to support the Early Years Foundation Stage, providing positive centred learning opportunities and plan and deliver a range of universal and targeted Stay and Play sessions to support children and families leading to school readiness.
  • Co-ordinate and deliver a responsive home visiting and outreach service, ensuring that services are accessible and that they are meeting the needs of local families, particularly those most at risk.
  • Support and lead a clear and consistent approach to monitoring and evaluating the work with children and families, so that the impact can be regularly assessed.
  • Co-ordinate and promote opportunities for volunteering, including offering appropriate accreditation of learning and experience.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Awareness of safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, following correct procedures and able to meet deadlines.
  • Enhanced knowledge of child development.
  • Significant experience of working with children and families.
  • ICT skills - able to use Microsoft office and apply information.
  • you will need an NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Early Learning
