St Michaels’s Homes is expanding one of its care homes and moving into a new state of the art care home in late September 2023 and they are looking to recruit a senior care assistant who is able to lead our staff team in order to achieve our high standards of care. Shifts starts at 07:30 to 20:30 on a rota 45.5hrs per week available however can be negotiated on hours.

To have a keen interest and experience in working with elderly people, in particular those who live with dementia.
To have achieved at least a level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care. To also have a “Can do” attitude, be caring, motivated and flexible.
To be a role model to our staff and to be able to lead a team effectively.
This person will need to show a willingness to learn and build a career with us, training will be offered free of charge.
