We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Assistant to join our Glentress Forest team! Be part of creating special escapes in one of Scotland’s most beautiful forest locations, with cabins perched amongst the pines above the picturesque Tweed Valley. Surrounded by swaying trees, thriving wildlife, and wide-open skies, you’ll develop your skills while providing outstanding service to our guests and enjoying the fresh forest air.

About the Operations Assistant role:

Open all year round, our Operations Assistant plays a vital role in creating an exceptional guest experience. Key responsibilities include:

  • ➡️ Ensuring hot tubs are in perfect working order every day for our guests.
  • ➡️ Completing general maintenance tasks, including using tools, fixing machinery, and decorating (basic knowledge desirable).
  • ➡️ Paying attention to the little details and delivering daily tasks in a timely and competent manner.
  • ➡️ Taking pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • ➡️ Following brand standards to ensure every guest experiences the Forest Feeling from the moment they step into their cabin.

What Are We Looking For?

Our ideal Operations Assistant will be a dynamic individual who applies a can-do attitude to solve any issues that may arise on location. You will be a team player, capable of building good working relationships with colleagues. A love for the outdoors is essential as these tasks need completing rain or shine every day of the year.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • ✅ A full clean UK Driving license
  • ✅ A positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • ✅ The ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • ✅ Great attention to detail, ensuring high cleanliness standards are met.
  • ✅ Some previous experience in a similar role.
  • ✅ A willingness to work outdoors in a natural setting, whatever the weather.
