Our client, a dynamic and exciting start-up subscription company, with a global customer base and an office in Central London are currently looking for a Senior Marketing Analyst to join their newly formed Marketing Analytics team. The team is designed to play a vital role in the success of the UK's marketing initiatives by bringing together their existing Analytics and Marketing team. They are responsible for collaboratively developing insights and reports to support marketing teams, enabling wider teams to make more optimal informed decisions, improve visibility, speed and autonomy of data driven decision making.
Senior Marketing Analyst
Your role will be to implement strong data governance, data quality and reporting standards and create an effective operating model for insights and reporting. The Marketing Analyst will ensure that marketing metrics and KPIs are delivered and maintained in a scalable and sustainable way and create automation of repetitive tasks and analysis. In addition, your role will include, but is not limited to:
- Work closely with the marketing team to analyse available data to support marketing and wider business decisions.
- Identification of new commercial opportunities, and driving them from ideation to execution
- Supporting key quarterly and yearly budgeting processes, forecasting conversion volume, and making the team’s routines more efficient and automated when possible
- Supporting the development of dashboards and tools to make performance analysis as quick and insightful as possible.
- Transforming data and numbers into insights and real-life opportunities.
- Provide strategic guidance to the marketing team based on data insights, competitive analysis, and market research.
- Develop a deep understanding of the marketing and gifting industry landscape, market trends, and customer dynamics to inform marketing strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Line management of junior analysts and providing coaching and mentoring as required.
The ideal candidate must hold at least 3 years’ experience in a commercial or marketing analytics role. Excellent analytical and technical skills are required, including expertise in statistical analysis and data visualization. The Senior Marketing Analyst will have demonstrable experience to an advanced level with SQL, Tableau and Excel. They must also be able to interpret a Python script and make their way through to any necessary changes. In addition, they will be commercially minded and a true problem solver, who is able to balance this with good leadership qualities.

Location: Central London
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
