About the Firm
We are a growing UK‑based Accountancy services and tax consultancy providing a range of services including business consultancy, financial advisory, taxation, accounting, payroll, and property‑related advisory services. As our client base is expanding and becoming more complex and regulated, we are strengthening our internal analytical and advisory capabilities.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst (Financial Risk & Regulatory Advisory) to support the development of analytical, governance, and risk‑based frameworks across our consultancy services. This is a client‑facing, advisory role requiring strong analytical judgement and the ability to assess business, regulatory, and financial risks.
The role is focused on analysis, evaluation, and strategic advisory, rather than operational or administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse business, regulatory, and financial crime risks across client engagements
- Assess compliance, governance, and internal control frameworks
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Conduct structured risk assessments for clients operating in regulated or high‑risk environments
- Support the development of risk, compliance, and governance frameworks
- Prepare analytical reports and advisory recommendations for senior stakeholders
- Work across tax, finance, and advisory service lines to ensure consistent risk oversight
- Support internal business analysis and strategic planning initiatives
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability
- Experience in business analysis, risk, compliance, governance, or advisory environments
- Understanding of regulatory, financial crime, or risk management concepts
- Ability to assess complex information and present clear recommendations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in professional services, financial services, consultancy, or regulated environments is desirable
- Must have atleast 3 years UK experience.
Qualifications
Degree or postgraduate qualification in law, finance, business, risk, compliance, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
